KW Urban Native Wigwam Project

The  KW Urban Native Wigwam Project (KWUNWP) is a non-profit organization that has served the First Nations, Metis and Inuit (Status or Non-Status) population of the Waterloo Region since 1987. It provides safe, secure, and affordable rent geared-to-income housing for Native people and their families that are in a low or moderate income situation.

They also offer community events throughout the year and help connect Indigenous people with other resources and communities in our area. We invite you to check out their website by clicking here, and their facebook page by clicking here.

As you can see by the poster below they are also always happy to accept donations for the renovations they do for the many people they help with housing. If you have extra renovation materials consider contacting KWUNWP to see if they can use it!
