Catholic Women’s League

Who We Are: We are the voice of Catholic women united in faith, promoting Christian values in the home and in the world.

What We Offer: We offer hospitality, friendship, sisterhood, support and affirmation that empowers women to reach their full potential.

What We Do: We provide faith based opportunities for spiritual growth, and many avenues for service and social justice.

Why We Do It: As Catholic women, we are called to stand up and take our place, speak the truth and renew our commitment to the call to holiness through service to the people of God––to fortify the family, create sanctuaries of peace and be the Good News to all. (from CWL of Canada  National website)

My membership makes me part of the largest national organization of Catholic women in Canada and part of the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organization.

Our St. Francis Council is taking steps to start back up after a break, and we’re inviting all ladies to join!
We would like to initiate our efforts with a Coffee Social after the three Masses on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd.  This is open to all parishioners as a way of fostering a more welcoming and united Parish Community.
The weekend of Mother’s Day, we will have testimonials of women of the Parish about their participation in the League.
And on Wednesday June 19th, we will be having a Potluck Supper, proceeded by Mass.

To become a member, fill out our Registration Form.  For more information please contact Sandy Milne, StFrancisCWL@gmail.com
