Today is the longest night of the year. This night has particular significance in the liturgical calendar as it is the bridge between light and dark, old and new.
We invite you to take part in a Twilight Retreat offered by Fr. Con O’Mahony at St. Andrew’s in Oakville. Using prayers and music from our tradition, we will pause for ninety minutes to move away from the noise and busyness around us to prepare spiritually for the Birth of Christ. We will reflect on where we have been during this extraordinary year and using readings and music that speak of light and darkness, we will explore how God speaks to us in both.
An outline and reference to the music used is available here.
