A Christmas of Fraternity

With supply-chain issues forcing some of us to be more creative with our gift-giving this Christmas, perhaps it is a good time to really think about what we give to our loved ones. Can we do more with our gifts than simply fill another shelf? If we are already mindful of our gift-giving, maybe we are looking for new ideas to spice it up!

As a parish community let us strive to respond to the Cry of the Poor and the Cry of the Earth this Christmas, through a Christmas of Fraternity. Click the button below for great gifting ideas to make this Christmas special for your family and our community!

Anishnabeg Outreach Centre Visit

Fr. Toby, CR, arranged for a visit for Bishop Crosby and Msgr. Sheridan to the Anishnabeg Outreach Centre in Kitchener earlier this week. We were welcomed by Mr. Stephen Jackson, founder of the Centre which is focused on reconciliation through healing and education. Impressive new programs and other initiatives promoting understanding of and appreciation for cultural skills and endeavours are taught to Indigenous children, youth and adults. The Centre is an important and valuable undertaking in the Kitchener-Waterloo region and fosters reconciliation in workable ways.
