As children prepare to return to in-person or virtual learning environments, we encourage families to take the opportunity to pray with their children in a meaningful way about the upcoming school year.
The beginning of the new school year brings with it a large list of “to do’s” and a return to routine. Before the hectic structure of bells and homework begins, schedule a time together as a family to celebrate a brief Liturgy of the Word and to hear how you can be praying for your children.
The Diocese of Hamilton’s Office of Evangelization and Catechesis, the Liturgy Office and Youth Ministry worked together to produce a Liturgy of the Word you can celebrate at home with your family, including prayers, questions and conversations you can have before starting the school year.
