There is an interesting term called the “black box theory”. It speaks about an object which produces a known effect when given certain input, but we cannot see the inner workings of the object, it is hidden in the black box.
Many probably don’t realize that the Congregation of the Resurrection has in their archives in Rome more than 200 black boxes where they keep the treasures of the congregation: letters, writings and reports from the time when the community was born up to the most recent General Chapter meetings which Fr. Tim attended in Rome.
Fr. Pawel Szymanowski, CR is currently in Rome going through these archives and has been sending out period updates from the black boxes. You can go treasure hunting with Fr. Pawel by checking out his Black Box Treasures here.
